Dafydd Roberts

Dafydd Roberts is the Principal Adviser for Primary Education. He has over 30 years experience in this field, as well as being head of two distinctly different schools he has also worked extensively in training colleges and with the WJEC.

As Principal Adviser he leads a team of primary advisers who work across the ESIS area.  He is also link adviser to Bridgend and is involved in senior managment within the authority.

Dafydd Roberts works alongside the Welsh adviser, advising on matters related to the Welsh language and Welsh medium education. Another important aspect of his work is the National Professional Qualification for Headteachers (NPQH). He is joint vice chair of the governing body (CELT) and works as lead trainer, tutor and assessor for both English medium and Welsh medium groups.
