Chris Morgan has recently returned to ESIS as a Primary Adviser, on a part time basis, after a four year secondment as headteacher of Glenboi Primary School in RCT.
This recent headship experience has reinforced his understanding of the pressures on modern headteachers and the schools in which they serve.
His duties are those of a general primary adviser and he is able to offer advice and guidance on a large number of issues in the primary field. He also has expertise in positive behavioural strategies, classroom pedagogy, circle time etc. Chris also offers training for lunch time supervisors. He is a qualified SCIPr U.K. trainer, able to work in a large range of educational settings. SCIPr U.K. is a strategy which embraces positive behaviour and physical restraint for pupils, in a manner which prevents injury to pupils and staff, and also preserves the dignity of pupils who may have profound educational and/or social needs.
