Andrew Wood is a Primary Adviser for ESIS. He is a seconded Headteacher from Bridgend LA and is in his eleventh year of headship following periods of deputy headship and a local authority advisory teacher. He was one of the first teachers in Wales to achieve NPQH. During his time in teaching he has acted as a guest speaker at a variety of conferences on a range of topics including healthy schools, design technology, leadership and management and acting as a peer assessor during inspections. He is also the reigning champion of the ‘Beat The Teacher’ competition on Real Radio.
