Booking a Course

There are several ways to book a course at ESIS.

Schools within an ESIS Local Authority, with a Service Level Agreement
All schools within an ESIS Local Authority must complete an INSET 2 form.  Schools that have invested in a Service Level Agreement have access to an exclusive online purchasing system.  Just ensure you and your CPD coordinator are registered to the site, then add the courses to your wish list and send them electronically to your coordinator for authorisation.  The coordinator can then complete the process online.  Alternatively you can download an INSET 2 form, complete it manually and your coordinator can return it to ESIS at INSET@esis.org.uk or fax 01443 827599.

Schools within an ESIS Local Authority, without a Service Level Agreement
All schools within an ESIS Local Authority must complete an INSET 2 form. Please download a form, complete it manually and your CPD coordinator can return it to ESIS at INSET@esis.org.uk or fax 01443 827599.

Schools outside of an ESIS Local Authority
Schools who do not operate within one of the ESIS four local authorities should contact the INSET team directly by email INSET@esis.org.uk or telephone 01443 827500.

Forms

In this section you’ll find the forms that ESIS will, from time to time, request your school to complete, if you are part of an ESIS Local Authority.  

INSET 1: This is a monthly return for supply costs to mirror your Absence Return
Please note: All schools in Merthyr Tydfil must use the INSET 1 form that is highlighted specifically for your authority.

INSET 2: Use this form to book staff onto courses that are part of the ESIS CPD Programme

INSET 3: Use this form to book any training outside the core CPD programme, such as ESIS adviser consultancy, in-school training or training by external bodies

INSET 4: Use this form to book any training outside the core CPD programme that is relevant to clusters. This must only be completed by the cluster coordinator
