As Chief Executive of ESIS I lead a joint team of Local Authority staff strongly committed to the shared endeavour of creating the best education and life opportunities for children and young people. In meeting these aspirations, by working within our four partner County Boroughs of Bridgend, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf, ESIS aims to use economy of scale and collaborative working to enhance learning and quality of services. As partners of Central South Consortium additionally with the Vale of Glamorgan authority we serve the national School Effectiveness Framework.

The ESIS team is comprised of experienced personnel augmented by seconded headteachers and excellent practitioners. We are dedicated to school improvement and enabling young people, in whatever settings, to develop their full potential.
