What was the focus for improvement?
The aim was to give pupils the opportunity to research, improve knowledge and understanding of the Celts. They would produce a piece of writing imagining that they were living in Celtic times.
What did we do?
Pupils worked in groups to produce mind maps, factual and creative writing and presentations to the rest of the class.
What were the outcomes?
Through developing their research skills pupils developed a deeper knowledge and understanding of the Celts.
What evidence have we collected to demonstrate improvements?
Small group working – for research, external visits to places such as St Fagans. Members of group encourages to play roles.
