What was the focus for improvement?
• Building confidence through working with others
What did we do?
• Identified learning strategies that would improve pupils contribution within lessons and build their confidence
What were the outcomes?
• The strategies were successful and have helped improve phases 1&4 of their PE lessons. Pupil’s contribution within lessons improved by using the different learning strategies.
What evidence have we collected to demonstrate improvements?
• Video evidence, resource cards.
What have we learnt about teaching practice and pupils learning?
• That it is possible through very simple tasks to improve learner’s input
What we aim to do next
• Disseminate findings to rest of department
• Collate feedback from pupils on the learning strategies used within lessons
• Apply for GTCW funding to attend further courses focusing on Link2learn
• Develop resources to be used throughout department
• Continue to use these strategies within lessons
