Consultancy
Educational clients can draw on the expertise of ESIS advisers in a variety of different ways. Covering all subjects and phases, ESIS can respond to schools’ requests effectively and be pro-active in the support of development plans from within the school itself.
Areas which can be covered by consultancy service include
- Leadership & Management
- Curriculum subjects
- Foundation Phase
- CRIS & e-CRIS
- Think2Learn
- Key Skills
- Assessment for Learning
- ICT Skills / ECDL
Support can be provided in various ways. This can include one-to-one consultancy meetings with senior staff or heads of department. We can also provide training for groups through closure days, twilight sessions or special projects.
Advisers can attend the school to offer support and advice on specific issues, including delivery of courses already available within the INSET programme or more bespoke training suited to the school’s needs.
Schools may opt for the closure day option for their staff or as part of a wider cluster grouping. Charges for closure days are calculated based on development time, group size and resources required. Special programmes such as Think2Learn attract special rates due to increased development and post-training support costs.
Initial enquiries for consultancy should be directed to the school Link Adviser or the Adviser in that particular curriculum area. Enquiries can also be forwarded to the Business Manager or Commercial Manager at ESIS.
