Strategy Areas

A key function of ESIS is to be responsive to schools and Local Authorities in their drive to maintain and improve standards.

We also need to be proactive in our thinking for the future. The ESIS Strategy Groups are made up of representatives from the five authorities in Central South Consortium (Bridgend, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and the Vale of Glamorgan). They help plan and prioritise the development work of ESIS for learners.

The strategy areas are:
