Events >> Course: Pedagogical Application of ICT in Learning and Teaching
There is growing interest in the use of Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) in primary and secondary schools and this course is designed to engage those working in schools with the use of ICT in learning, teaching and assessment. The focus is on the use of the technologies and approaches made possible by the ICT team at ESIS and the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching at the University of Glamorgan.
The course is aimed at those who teach any subject or at any age group through the medium of Welsh or English.
During the course participants will review examples of online materials; analyse a range of relevant pedagogical approaches; evaluate a variety of resources and engage with the emergent research in ICT use in learning and teaching.
You will also be involved in devising your own content for online and/or blended learning delivery.
It may also be possible to gain Higher Education credits towards a Master’s degree for those who complete the assessment element successfully.
