A probability matching task. Pupils work in pairs, each pair having a copy of the matching task which is already cut up and in a pack.

Initially ask pupils to sort out the statements into ' certain', 'impossible' and 'neither'.

This can be extended by removing the ' neither' card and replacing with the cards 'likely', 'unlikely' and 'even chance'.
